Every session consists of three hours of teaching. The weekly session is split into three separate one-hour classes. One hour will concentrate on jazz/modern dance, another hour will focus on drama, and the third will specialize in singing. Class numbers will be limited to a maximum of twenty, similarly aged, students.

The 2 Faced Theatre Company have a core of three main tutors - one for each of the three disciplines. These individuals have been carefully chosen on the merit of their extensive training and experience. Such professionals have the unique ability to create the perfect union between discipline, respect and fun. We feel these qualities are essential when working with creative youngsters. All staff have been CRB checked to create a safe environment for everyone involved.

And now for the special ingredient that we have to offer….
Each month there will be a unique opportunity for students to meet and learn from West End Performers. Spending the day at the school these professionals will be on hand to teach workshops, provide insight and offer helpful advice to each individual student throughout the three hour session. What better way for a child to be taught a routine from a professional production than from a member of that professional cast?

We believe that providing our students with the chance to perform on a regular basis forms a vital part of their development as performers. At the end of each term the students will perform in a spectacular musical performance. There will be two shows in the academic year with the second production being staged at one of Manchester’s top theatres. Leading casting professionals will be invited to attend.

Here at The 2 faced Theatre Company we believe it is extremely important to offer praise and encouragement to all of our pupils. Teachers will nominate pupils for a series of special awards. These will be presented at our Annual Awards Night and will mark any outstanding achievements that our pupils have impressed us with during the year. The Awards Night will provide the perfect excuse to get staff, parents and pupils together in celebration of talent and achievement.

At the end of these monthly master classes there will be a question and answer session. Students will be offered the opportunity to ask the performers anything they wish about their experiences within the industry. Following the Q&A session there will be a performance from the professional.
